Ruth takes time to listen to your needs and tailors her massage therapy plan accordingly. I feel renewed when I leave. My husband, who is in declining health and has several impairments benefits greatly from his bi-weekly massage therapy. I recommend her highly!

Ruth is AMAZING !!!! It had been almost 2 years since I had massage by a skilled therapist, and Ruth is!!! My neck,lower back and shoulders have not felt this good in a long time. Her technic and combination of different technics are awesome !!! So glad I found her, I have already booked my appointment for next month I plan on going back to her so I can get my body back to feeling good all the time. Thanks Ruth you are AMAZING!!!!

Medical Massage
I had never had a massage before going to Ruth, so I was a little nervous, but, she put me at ease. Using the Trager Method was perfect for me. No mashing and grinding which is what I was worried about. I will be going back and hope to make it a regular thing!

Results!! I am a mobile massage therapist and have been concerned about my longevity in this career because of hand pain. Ruth not only did her wonders on my forearms and hands, but taught me self care that has made a huge difference. So FIVE STARS for that. She's also given me a full massage and I love her work. I felt completely relaxed and my back pain issues were resolved. We did a massage party together in Dallas Memorial Day Weekend and I saw her in action with other clients as we worked side by side for a friend retreat doing one hour massages. Her clients looked as pleased and relaxed as mine did and I look forward to working with her again.

I got a great deep massage from Ruth. I felt very relaxed throughout the whole session because she doesnt force through the muscle which can cause injury. I am an MT myself so I know. Her therapy is deep but not painful. She uses Tragger, myofascial and stretching. I highly recommend her!

Ruth Bucher LMT is a rare find. I have been receiving and involved with bodywork for 43 years. I appreciate her sensitivity perceiving and communicating with holding patterns in the body/mind. Her hands entice freedom and comfort.
Her commitment to keeping the work of Milton Trager MD pure, alive, and growing is inspiring. And she integrates it well with other modalities.

Working with Ruth has been life-changing for me. For over 4 years I suffered from chronic pain, fatigue, and despair - nothing worked and I felt completely stuck. Fortunately, a friend recommended Ruth who practices Somatic Movement Therapy with the Trager Approach. I had no idea what this treatment entailed but I was desperate to try anything. To my surprise and delight it worked! Through her treatment, I have been able to make significant strides in reducing chronic pain and even feeling hopeful about being pain-free again. It's not easy but the process is so much easier with Ruth's expertise, as well as her kindness and compassionate bedside manner. I am a massage therapist and I'm so thankful I have finally found a massage therapist that I really has the skill I need. I had been looking for someone that can do Myofascial Release that is gentle but effective like the work I do. For so long i couldnt find the right therapist so I just settled for good enough. Meanwhile, I have had issues in my shoulders that was getting worse. Ruth does myofascial release well as Trager which I didn't really know a lot about. My session was full body myofascial release combined with Trager and it felt amazing. It is deep tissue work without the discomfort. It took time for my shoulder to get as bad as it was so I will need a few more sessions. But already there is a huge difference.
Ruth is very knowledgeable of the body and her techniques are truly amazing and different then most massage therapists. So caring and nice to talk to. Truly has a passion for helping people and getting results.

My left shoulder and upper back was very stiff from a recent move and working long hours hunched over my computer. Being so new to the area, I hadn't found my people yet for my healthcare needs. I was about to go out of town on a work trip and I was desperate to find someone who could help me. I found Ruth online and quickly got in to see her. Kathleen, I’m so glad you tried Ruth’s massage therapy and plan to return. I’m a big fan of hers since witnessing how beneficial it has been for my disabled husband. He sleeps much better for several days after each visit and appears more pain-free and relaxed afterwards. I just canceled my Massage Envy contract and plan to go to her myself. It’s so convenient to have her nearby!

I just got my last massage from Ruth Bucher at Celestine Therapy (sad for me!). Over the last several months she has helped me to clear up some long-standing problems - she primarily uses Trager technique, which is gentle and relaxing. I don't walk out feeling like I just got beat up! Her rates are completely reasonable for the skill level and how effective her treatments have been for me (I have seen other massage for years, and finally seeing a big improvement). You're not gonna pay 'massage chain store prices' for this level of therapy. She works out of a home studio here on the Eastside.
